I’m a retired, married grandma, with two married children. I live with my elderly, invalid mother and I sometimes write about her because she can drive me batty. This blog is my way of complaining venting, but I’m hoping it helps other people in similar situations.
I may also mention weight issues, gift wrapping, recipes, photographs, Christmas, country music, Lifetime movies, court shows, Dr. Phil, and so forth. Please forgive me.
I currently live in Southern California with its beautiful weather and not-so-beautiful traffic.

I am so proud of you. This site is wonderful and your written words are almost as funny as you are in person. I am so happy that you decided to use your wit to make others laugh, as you go through lifes ups and even more ups. (No one is praying for the downs for you, like I am!)
I am sure that there are others that are going through similar experiences and can totally relate to your situation. Sometimes caregives just need a good laugh after they have had a trying day. You already have a loyal subscriber, me. I will check in to catch up on 411 periodically!
And since I have a clear advantage….I have your cell phone number…..know that I will always have an emphathetic ear for you and know that I am in your corner….or couch….every step of the way. Remember it will only take me 40 minutes to be there with my shovel.

Nancy, I stumbled upon your blog today and have read the last several entries. You are a hoot! I love your writing style and the stories about your Mom leave me grinning ear to ear.
